Why We’re Here

Endometrial cancer is one of the most common gynecologic cancers, yet it’s rarely talked about. Too many women, including moms, sisters, daughters, and friends miss the early signs. Our mission is simple: remind people to check on their mom while they still can.

Know the Signs of Endometrial Cancer

Awareness can make the difference. Look out for:

Abnormal vaginal bleeding or spotting (especially after menopause)

Pelvic pain or pressure

Pain during intercourse

Unexplained weight loss

Changes in bathroom habits (urination or bowel movements)

👉 If your mom, aunt, or grandmother is experiencing any of these, encourage her to see a doctor.

Why Endometrial Cancer Awareness Matters

Most people don’t hear about endometrial cancer until it touches someone they love. For our family, that person was Sherina.

Endometrial cancer affects 1 in 36 women, yet it remains one of the most underfunded and under-discussed cancers, especially for women of color and those who are post-menopausal.

By the time Sherina was diagnosed, the cancer had already advanced. She faced it with bravery, dignity, and an unwavering will to keep showing up for her family. But earlier detection could have made all the difference.

Her story is not rare. And that’s the problem.

That’s why we’ve started this movement, not just in memory of Sherina, but in action for every mom, sister, aunt, and daughter whose symptoms are overlooked or misunderstood.

Sherina’s Legacy is Action

Our goal is to break the silence around this disease.
Through awareness, education, and community-led support, we will help others catch it sooner, treat it earlier, and fight it stronger.

This isn’t just about cancer.
It’s about being seen. It’s about being heard. It’s about not waiting until it’s too late.
